ARCADIA WOMEN'S SOCCER POSTS 2-0 WIN OVER KING'S
WILKES-BARRE -- The visiting Arcadia University
women's soccer team scored one goal in each half as the Scarlet Knights
posted a 2-0 victory over host King's College Tuesday at Betzler Fields.
With the win, Arcadia improved to 6-7-2 while King's
fell to 4-9.
Arcadia took a 1-0 lead at 25:13 of the first half when Danielle Discher
scored an unassisted goal. The Scarlet Knights would tack on the final
goal of the contest with 37:36 remaining when Michelle Comito scored off
an assist from Patty Robb.
Arcadia outshot King's 31-3 and held a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks.
King's goalie Christine Uhl made 18 saves on the day.
The Lady Monarchs will travel to Doylestown to face
Delaware Valley College Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
