KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO LYCOMING, 2-0
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s
soccer team scored two first-half goals and the defense made them stand up
limiting King's College to just one shot in the match. The 2-0 victory
improves Lycoming’s overall record to 7-2 and their conference record to
2-0. King’s falls to 3-6 and 0-2.
The Warriors were led by Danielle Curry who scored
the first goal and assisted on the second. Kaitlyn Prairie recorded
the assist on Curry’s goal, while Beth Weixel tallied Lycoming’s
second goal.
Christine Uhl went the distance in goal for the Lady
Monarchs, making 13 saves. Lycoming keeper Jessica Bennett made one save
to record the shutout.
.King's will travel to Madison, NJ to face Drew
University at 1:30 p.m.
