KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER DOWNS KEYSTONE, 3-0

WILKES-BARRE -- Jennifer Toth scored a goal and distributed two assists as the King's College women's soccer team posted a 3-0 victory over Keystone College Monday at Betzler Fields.

With the win, the Lady Monarchs have already surpassed their victory total of the entire 2003 season in improving to 3-4 on the year. Keystone slipped to 1-5.

King's opened the scoring just 2:05 into the contest when Maria Bustin knocked in a crossing pass from Toth. The Lady Monarchs would take a 2-0 lead when Toth scored off an assist from Lori Stuart with 30:43 left in the first half. King's would tack on the final goal of the contest with 19:04 left in the game when Christina Fisher struck net off Toth's second assist.

King's outshot Keystone 12-4 and held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks. Lady Monarch goalie Christine Uhl made four saves while Keystone goalie Allison Martinelli.

The Lady Monarchs will return to action Saturday with an 11:00 a.m. home contest against FDU-Florham.
