KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO CEDAR CREST
ALLENTOWN -- Host Cedar Crest College broke
open a 1-1 halftime tie with three second half goals as the Classic posted
a 4-1 victory over King's College Thursday in Allentown.
Cedar Crest opened the scoring at 43:09 of the first half on a goal by
Andrea Zajack. King's knotted the score at 1-1 when Jen Beams struck net
with 11:06 left in the first half off a Jen Toth assist.
The Classics took the lead for good on an Amanda Swartz goal with 38:15
remaining in the contest. Riana Wessenreder and Danielle Skinner
added the final two goals for Cedar Crest.
King's (1-3) will make its home debut Saturday when the Lady Monarchs host
Gwynedd-Mercy College at 4:30 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
