KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO BRIARCLIFF

WILKES-BARRE -- Visiting Briarcliff College
scored one goal in each half as the Seahawks posted a 2-0 victory over
King's College in a women's soccer match Wednesday at Betzler Fields.
Briarcliff took a 1-0 lead when Stephanie
Adams scored unassisted with 12:15 remaining in the opening half. Gina
Shore added the final goal of the contest with 7:29 remaining to seal the
victory.
The Seahawks outshot King's 15-2 and held a
7-0 advantage in corner kicks. King's goalie Christine Uhl was solid in
net with 13 saves.
The Lady Monarchs will next compete in the
Hood College Tournament Saturday and Sunday in Frederick, Md.
