SUSQUEHANNA DOWN KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM 8-1

WILKES-BARRE -- Lindsay Nevins scored a pair of goals and Jessica Paulshock added a goal and assist to lead visiting Susquehanna University to a 8-1 victory over King's College Wednesday at Betzler Fields.

With the win, Susquehanna improved to 6-2 while the Lady Monarchs fell to 2-7.

Susquehanna built a 6-0 half-time lead as Nevins tallied both goals in the opening stanza. King's would score its lone goal with 26:00 remaining in the contest when Meghan DeRosa drilled in a shot from right of the box into the upper left-hand corner of the net. Susquehanna closed out the contest with two goals over the final 20:00 of the game.
