KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO CENTENARY 6-0
WILKES-BARRE -- Jess Sikora, one of the top scorers
in the nation, netted five goals as the visiting Centenary College women's
soccer team posted a 6-0 victory over King's College Thursday at Betzler
Fields.
With the win, centenary improved to 10-5 while
King's fell to 2-15.
Sikora, ranked 11th nation with 40 points on 19
goals and two assists entering the contest, gave the Cyclones a 4-0
half-time lead with three goals. The Centenary sophomore would net two
more over the final 3:41 to close out the scoring.
Centenary outshot King's 24-4 and held a 7-4 lead in
corner kicks. King's goalie Liz Ball made 10 saves while centenary keeper
Michelle Burke made two stops.
King's will next travel to Reading to face Albright
Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
