WILKES-BARRE - Seven different players scored goals
as Drew University defeated King’s College 9-0 in an MAC Freedom
Conference women’s soccer matchup Saturday at Betzler Fields.
With the win, Drew improved to 7-2-2 overall and 3-0
in conference King’s fell to 2-10 and 0-3 in conference.
Katherine Trawinski and Shinobu Bharaj each had two
goals as Drew jumped out to a 7-0 lead at the end of the first half.
Drew held an advantage over King’s in shots (35-8)
and corner kicks (6-1).
King’s will play its next game away at Neumann
College Tuesday at 4:00.
