different players scored goals to lead the College Misericordia women’s
soccer team to a 6-0 win over King’s, Saturday, in the first women’s
soccer game ever played at Misericordia's Mangelsdorf Field at the
Anderson Outdoor Athletic Complex.
Raye Stewart, Cole Vennie, Miki Bedics and Kristen
Steiner all scored in the first half to give the Cougars a 4-0 halftime
lead.
Carolyn Muller and Lindsay Klinepeter added second
half goals as the Cougars improved to 3-0.
Misericordia had 21 shots on goal while King’s had
just one.
Liz Ball and Liz Ashworth combined for 18 saves for King's
