SABO NAMED FIRST-TEAM ALL-MAC IN WOMEN'S LACROSSE FOR SECOND STRAIGHT SEASON

WILKES-BARRE -- King's College women's lacrosse standout Lindsay Sabo (Milford/Delaware Valley) has been named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference Team as a first-team selection, the MAC Office announced Tuesday.

It marks Sabo's third straight selection to the All-MAC Team and her second consecutive berth on the first-team. Sabo was a second-team choice in 2005.

The senior standout recently competed a brilliant career at King's where she owns virtually every school record. As a senior, Sabo posted team highs of 64 goals, 16 assists, 80 total points, 53 ground balls, and 30 caused turnovers.

Over the course of her four-year career, she has registered school-record totals of 305 total points on 197 goals and 108 assists with 286 ground balls. She has established King's single-season marks of 64 goals in 2007, 54 assists in 2005, and 99 total points, also in 2005. Additionally, Sabo is the career record-holder with 106 ground balls in 2005

Sabo also shares King's single-game school record of eight goals and 10 points, while owning the outright record of eight assists in one contest. She also stands second with single-game totals of seven goals and nine points, accomplished twice each.

Sabo, who was named the MAC Player of the Week on Monday, is also an outstanding student with a 3.98 grade-point average and was a 2006 selection to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American Team and was named the MAC Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the fall.
