LADY MONARCHS FALL AT E-TOWN, 18-4

ELIZABETHTOWN -- Katie Foley scored four goals with two assists and host Elizabethtown College built a 12-2 lead en route to an 18-4 triumph over KIng's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse matchup Thursday in Elizabethtown.

With the win, Elizabethtown improved to 3-1 and 1-0 in the MAC while KIng's slipped to 1-4 and 0-2.

Kelsea Kozak aided the Elizabethtown attack with two goals and five assists while Anna Ford and Megan Byrnes contributed three goals each.

King's was paced by Lindsay Sabo with two goals while Erica Kovats and Sara Alesso netted one goal each. Reanna Lachner contributed an assist for the Lady Monarchs.  Heather Kelly allowed 14 goals and made eight saves in 37 minutes of action. Chrissy Keenan followed up by playing the final 22 minutes, allowing four goals and stopping one shot.

Despite the lopsided nature of the score, Elizabethtown barely outshot King's by a 32-28 margin as the Lady Monarchs struggled to find the net.
