KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE DOWNS MISERI 21-3
DALLAS -- Grace King scored six goals and
Lindsay Sabo added four goals and four assists to lead the King's
College women's lacrosse team to a 21-3 victory over host College
Misericordia Monday at Anderson Field in Dallas.
With the win, King's improved to 6-3 on the year.
King netted four goals in the first half to power the Lady Monarchs to a
10-0 lead en route to take a 10-1 advantage into the halftime break.
Karen Harp added three goals while Erica Kovats netted two more two held
lead the King's attack. Keri Niedt, Sara Alesso, Michelle O'Brien,
Melissa gates, Jen Marrosu, and Rachel Agzigian also chipped in with one
goal each for King's. Kovats, Alesso, and Kim Murray also contributed
assists.
Heather Kelly made six stops for King's in the first half while Chrissy
Keenan posted three second-half saves.
King's will travel to face Messiah College Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in
Grantham.
