WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's lacrosse team has been listed as the number-one ranked Division III academic team in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.

In the IWLCA rankings, King's posted the highest team grade-point average of any team in Division III with a 3.49, narrowly topping Haverford (3.44) and Claremont-McKenna (3.43).

Additionally, six Lady Monarch players were named to the IWLCA National Honor Roll.
