KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE TIES SCHOOL-RECORD FOR WINS AS LADY MONARCHS
POST IMPORTANT 13-12 WIN AT E-TOWN
ELIZABETHTOWN -- Lindsay Sabo broke the school-record for single-season
scoring as the King's College women's lacrosse team equaled the program
record for single-season victories with an important 13-12 Middle
Atlantic Confernce road triumph Monday at Elizabethtown College.
With the win, King's improved to 8-3 overall and 3-2 in the MAC. In the
process, the Lady Monarchs remain in the MAC playoff picture while
equaling the school record of eight victories set last season.
Elizabethtown slipped to 4-8 and 2-4 in MAC play.
Sabo scored five goals and distributed three assists to register her
65th points of the season, surpassing the previous mark of 61 set by
current Lady Monarch teammate Patrice Cote. Cote, Grace King, and Kim
Murray added two goals apiece while Kerri Neidt and Melissa Gates
tallied one goal each. Kristen Greene chipped in with one assist. King's
goalie Mary Beth Clark posted 15 saves to pick up the win.
King's returns to action on Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. game with Wilkes
University at Ralston Field.
