KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO MESSIAH
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's
lacrosse team built a 3-0 lead but could not make it stand up as visiting
Messiah College rallied for a 15-8 victory Saturday at Betzler Fields.
With the win, Messiah improved to 7-3 and 2-1 in the Middle Atlantic
Conference while King's slipped to 5-2 and 0-1 in league play.
Kristen Greene led the Lady Monarchs with three goals and two assists,
while Patrice Cote added three goals. Lindsay Sabo followed
with two goals, two assists, and six groundballs.
Kayte Hall led Messiah with six goals.
King's will next host Drew University Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Betzler
Fields.
