KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE DOWNS CENTENARY, 20-3
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ -- Grace King's scored five goals
and Lindsay Sabo added four goals and three assists to power the King's
College women's lacrosse team to a 20-3 victory over host Centenary
College Thursday in Hackettstown, NJ.
With the win, King's improved to 5-1 on the year.
A total of 10 different King's players scored as the Lady Monarchs coasted
to a 16-2 half-time lead. Patrice Cote added three goals while Kim Murray
posted two goals and three assists. Kristen Greene scored one goal with two
assists each while Michelle O'Brien and Sara Alesso both netted one goal
with one assist. Christina Klenk and Ave Moran chipped in with one goal
each.
The Lady Monarch defense was solid in allowing Centenary just five shots
on goal. Mary Beth Clark picked up the win in goal, making five saves on
the day.
King's will return to action Saturday at 11:30 a.m. when the Lady Monarchs
host Messiah College at Betzler Fields.
