KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE DOWNS GWYNEDD-MERCY
GWYNEDD- VALLEY -- Four different players scored
three or more goals to pace a balanced attack as the King's College
women's lacrosse team posted an impressive 15-9 road victory over Gwynedd-Mercy
College Saturday in Gwynedd Valley.
With the win, the Lady Monarchs evened their record at 1-1 on the
year.
King's, which built a comfortable 9-4 half-time lead, was led by Kim
Murray with four goals and one assist. Lindsay Sabo followed with
three goals and four assists. Grace King tallied three goals with one
assist while Patrice Cote netted three scores. Melissa Gates chipped in
with one score for the Lady Monarchs while senior goalie Mary Beth Clark
posted 10 saves to pick up the win.
The Lady Monarchs will next travel to Philadelphia to plays Chestnut Hill
College Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
