KING'S WOMEN'S LAXERS SET SINGLE-SEASON WIN MARK
GLENSIDE -- The King's College women's lacrosse team
secured its winningest season ever as the Lady Monarchs posted a 13-6
victory over Arcadia University in non-conference action Thursday in
Glenside.
With the win, the Lady Monarchs improved to 6-4 on
the year and registered the highest number of single-season victories
since the program began in 1997. King's had posted five wins during the
2000 and 2003 seasons.
Freshman Lindsay Sabo scored six goals to pace the
Lady Monarchs. Mary Beth Clark made seven saves to earn the win in goal.
King's returns to action Saturday when the Lady
Monarchs host Lycoming at 1:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
