KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO SUSQUEHANNA,
13-8
SELINSGROVE -- The King's College women's lacrosse
team fell to 1-1 on the year as the Lady Monarchs dropped a 13-8 decision
to host Susquehanna University Wednesday in Selinsgrove.
The game was tied 5-5 at the half before Susquehanna
(2-2) outscored the Lady Monarchs 8-3 in the final stanza.
King's was led by Patrice Cote with five goals while
Lindsay Sabo, Kelly Ilardi, and Kim Murray added goals. Sara Alesso
chipped in with an assist.
The Lady Monarchs return to action Saturday when
King's travel to face Messiah College at 4:00 p.m.
