LADY MONARCH LACROSSE WINS THIRD STRAIGHT WITH 16-13
VICTORY OVER CEDAR CREST
WILKES-BARRE - Freshman Patrice Cote scored five
goals and dished out four assists to power the King’s College women’s
lacrosse team to an exciting 16-13 victory over visiting Cedar Crest
College Thursday at Betzler Fields.
With the win, King’s improved to 4-3 and won its
third straight game of the season.
Jenn Bezick was also outstanding with four goals on
the day while Beth Ampula added three. Kristen Greene and Jen Marrosu both
followed with two goals and one assist, while Christina Klenk and Becky
Frey contributed one assist each.
The Lady Monarchs will host defending Middle
Atlantic Conference champion Susquehanna Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Betzler
Fields.
