KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE DOWNS FDU, 14-5
MADISON, NJ -- Freshman Patrice Cote scored five
goals and added an assist to lead the King's College women's lacrosse team
to a 14-5 win over FDU-Florham Tuesday in Madison, NJ.
The Lady Monarchs took advantage of its most
balanced effort of the season as seven different players scored in the
contest. Following Cote, Kate Szelagowski scored three goals with an
assist while Kristen Green netted two goals with an assist.
Becky Frey, Jen Bezick, Beth Ampula, and Jen Marrosu all netted goals for
the Lady Monarchs. Marrosu and Karen Harp also added assists.
With the win, King's improved to 3-3 overall and 2-1
in the Middle Atlantic Conference.
The Lady Monarchs will next host Cedar Crest College
Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields.
