KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO LYCOMING
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's
lacrosse team fell to 1-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference play as the Lady
Monarchs dropped a 17-11 decision to unbeaten (3-0) Lycoming College
Wednesday at Betzler Fields.
King's, 2-5 overall, was led by Grace King with five goals while Melissa
gates scored three goals. Michelle O'Brien tallied a pair of scores
while Candace Russ scored once.
Heather Kelly made seven saves in goal while Chrissy Keenan posted two
saves.
Lycoming was led by Sarah Wingerden with four goals while Megan
Wallenhorst added three goals and one assist.
