It marked the third straight year the Lady Monarchs (6-0) won the title at Vassar's annual event.

The Brewers responded when Jessie Albert notched her first goal of the season off an assist from fellow senior Emily Fare, bringing Vassar to within 5-3 at the 66:00 mark. Wychock, however, put the game away for King's with an insurance goal just 3:02 later to seal a 6-3 victory for the Lady Monarchs.

King's out shot Vassar 15-13 and held a 11-3 advantage on penalty corners, converting three for goals. Kings goalie Erin McGinley made three stops to pick up the win while Vassar goalie Taylor Herman had five saves.
