WYCHOCK NAMED FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
WILKES-BARRE, PA—Senior Forward Debbie
Wychock was named to the Freedom Conference Player of the Week.
Wychock helped King’s to a quick 2-0
season start with 13 points on the week. Wychock opened the season with
three goals and one assist during a 5-2 road win against New Jersey
Athletic Conference member Ramapo College. She closed out the week with
her second straight hat-trick, tallying three goals in a 4-1 victory
over Neumann.
For the week, Wychock finished with six goals and one
assist in two games. In the process, she became just the third player in
King’s field hockey history to surpass the 100-point mark for her
career.
The Lady Monarchs return to the field
this Saturday, September 6 where they prepare to meet Arcadia
University. The match is set to start at 12:00 pm at the Betzler Fields.
