WYCHOCK NAMED FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILKES-BARRE, PA—Senior Forward Debbie Wychock was named to the Freedom Conference Player of the Week.

Wychock helped King’s to a quick 2-0 season start with 13 points on the week.  Wychock opened the season with three goals and one assist during a 5-2 road win against New Jersey Athletic Conference member Ramapo College. She closed out the week with her second straight hat-trick, tallying three goals in a 4-1 victory over Neumann.

For the week, Wychock finished with six goals and one assist in two games. In the process, she became just the third player in King’s field hockey history to surpass the 100-point mark for her career.

The Lady Monarchs return to the field this Saturday, September 6 where they prepare to meet  Arcadia University. The match is set to start at 12:00 pm at the Betzler Fields.
