KING'S FIELD HOCKEY DOWNS MARYWOOD

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College field hockey team overcame a 1-0 deficit to rattle off four straight goals as the Lady Monarchs posted a 4-1 victory over Marywood University Tuesday in Scranton.

Megan Farrell tallied two goals for King's while Sarah McGrady also scored as the Lady Monarchs took a 3-1 half-time lead. Debbie Wychock followed with a second-half goal and Jackie Snover dished out a pair of assists before play was halted due to lightening with 10 minutes remaining.

King's, which improved to 8-3 on the year, travels to face DeSales Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in Center Valley
