KING'S LINDSAY SABO NAMED ALL-REGIONAL
WILKES-BARRE -- King's College field
hockey standout Lindsay Sabo has been named to the National Field Hockey
Coaches Association South Atlantic All-Regional Team as a second-team
selection.
A junior forward Sabo was named the most valuable player of the MAC
Freedom Conference after leading the Lady Monarchs to a school-record
15-5 mark, first-place finish in the Freedom Conference
regular-season, and a second place in the Freedom Conference
tournament.
On the year, Sabo scored 37 points on 13 goals and 11 assists to rank as
the co-leader of the Freedom Conference in total scoring.
King's concluded the season ranked 20th in the NFHCA national poll.
