King’s College Field Hockey has tough loss at Drew University 4-1

NEW JERSEY - Drew University scored three unanswered goals in the second half as the Rangers defeated King’s College 4-1 Saturday in Madison, New Jersey.

Drew took a 1-0 lead when Alysa Bobe scored at 28:23 in the first half. King’s Kim Murrary scored an unassisted goal with 6:24 left to tie the game at 1-1 before the break. Colleen Mahon, Kristin Scarpa, and Kara Fetter would then score second half goals for Drew to seal the victory.

Drew led in total shots (19-7) and penalty corners (11-6) while King’s goalie Katie Dalo made nine saves.

The Lady Monarchs will play their next game at home against Albright College Saturday at 1:00.
