KING'S WOMEN FALL NEUMANN, 64-51
ASTON -- The host Neumann College women's
basketball team overcame a one-point half-time deficit by outscoring
King's College 37-23 in the second half to post a 64-51 victory Thursday
in Aston.
With the win, Neumann improved to 7-1 while King's fell to 5-4.
Syreeta Brown led Neumann with 13 points while Brittany Whetts added
nine points and 10 rebounds. Dominique Thompson also added nine
points.
Andrea Hochstuhl led King's with 16 points and eight rebounds while
Kaitlyn Fiorino followed with 11 points. Jenna Palumbo contributed
with seven points while Casey Heitman and Lauren Kendra chipped in
with six points each.
King's will host Cabrini College Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Scandlon
Gymnasium in the Lady Monarchs final home game of the semester.
