HOCHSTUHL REPEATS AS FREEDOM CONFERENCE PLAYER OF
THE WEEK, ALSO NAMED ECAC SOUTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK

-- For the second straight week, King's College center Andrea Hochstuhl
has been named the Freedom Conference "Player of the Week", the Middle
Atlantic Conferences Office announced. Additionally, she was honored as
the Eastern College Athletic Conference South Region "Player of the
Week".
Hochstuhl enjoyed a banner week in leading King’s to a 2-0 mark, both
Freedom Conference road victories. In a 64-42 win over Lycoming, she
scored 19 points with career highs of 17 rebounds and six blocked shots.
In a 78-61 victory at FDU, she added 17 points and 16 rebounds with
seven blocked shots, breaking her career high set just three days
earlier.
For the week, Hochstuhl averaged 18.0 points, 16.5
rebounds, 6.5 blocks, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals. She also helped the
Lady Monarchs to their seventh straight victory as King’s improved to
12-5 and 4-2 in Freedom Conference play.
A week earlier, Hochstuhl received the honor after averaging 18.3
points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks in three games.
For the year, she averages 14.2 points and 10.7 rebounds with 33 blocked
shots while posting 10 double-doubles (points-rebounds) in 17 games.
