KING'S HOCHSTUHL NAMED FREEDOM CONFERENCE PLAYER OF
THE WEEK
WILKES-BARRE -- King's
College women's basketball standout Andrea Hochstuhl has been selected
as the MAC Freedom Conference "Player of the Week", the MAC Office
announced on Monday.
Hochstuhl led Kingšs to a 3-0 week as the Lady
Monarchs (10-5) won their fifth straight game.
In a 78-55 road win over Rutgers-Camden, the 6-foot junior center scored
15 points with nine rebounds. In a 61-39 win over Wilkes, she tallied 19
points with five rebounds in 25 minutes of action. In a big 75-57 win
over Delaware Valley, King's first against the Aggies since 2005, she
netted 21 points and 14 rebounds.
Hochstuhl's three-game average was 18.3 points,
9.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks.
For the season, she is averaging 13.7 points and 9.9 rebounds with 20
blocked shots.
King's will next travel to Lycoming College on Wednesday for a 6:00 p.m.
contest.
