KING'S WOMEN POST 66-50 WIN AT LYCOMING

WILLIAMSPORT -- Jen Wozniak paced three double-figure scorers with 18 points and eight rebounds as the King's College women's basketball team posted a 66-50 victory over Lycoming Wednesday in Williamsport.

The Lady Monarchs improved to 17-5 overall and 8-3 in MAC Freedom Conference play while Lycoming fell to 12-9 and 4-6.

King's shot 50.0 (15-30) percent from the field in the first half to built a 33-25 lead at the break. The Lady Monarch continued to shoot well in the second stanza, connecting on 46.7 (14-30) percent from the field. 

Beth Jordan netted 12 points while Tiffini Varrasse added 11 points and six assists. Kristin Yeasted contributed seven points off the bench while Jennie Orelli and Colette Mackoweic chipped in with five and four points apiece.

Lycoming was led by Rebecca Pugh with 12 points while Amy Kile followed with 10.

King's will next travel to Madison, NJ to face Drew University Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
