KING'S WOMEN DOMINATE WILMINGTON, 85-39
WILMINGTON, DE -- The King's College women's
basketball team upped its season record to 14-4 as the Lady Monarchs
defeated Wilmington College 85-39 Monday in Wilmington, De.
Jennie Orelli topped the Lady Monarchs with 16
points, while making 4-of-5 three-pointers. Jen Wozniak added 12 points
and a game-high nine rebounds to aid the Lady Monarch cause. Kristin
Yeasted and Beth Jordan followed with 12 points each. Jess Ohrin netted
seven points while Colette Makoweic chipped with six points.
King's built a 44-21 half-time lead and cruised
throughout as Lady Monarch coach Bryan Whitten played all 13 players with
12 reaching the scoring column.
Wilmington (2-15) was paced by Katelin Klingert with
nine points
King's will next host Wilkes Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
in Scandlon Gymnasium.
