KING'S WOMEN ROUTE DELAWARE VALLEY

DOYLESTOWN -- Jen Wozniak scored 15 points and snared 11 rebounds in just 22 minutes of action as the King's College women's basketball team routed Delaware Valley College 92-49 Wednesday in Doylestown. With the win, King's improved to 11-2 overall and 2-1 in MAC Freedom Conference action. The Lady Aggies fall to 3-8 and 0-3.

The Lady Monarchs took control right from the start as Tiffini Varrasse tallied eight points to ignite King's to a 37-16 half-time lead. A tough Lady Monarch defense harrased the Aggies into just 24.1 (7-29) shooting in the first half.

King's would continue the onslaught in the second half and shot an outstanding 59.5 (22-37) percent from the floor and put up 55 points over the game's final 20 minutes.

A total of 15 of King's players reached the scoring column on the night. Beth Jordan came off the bench to tally 11 points while Carissa Ryan netted 10.  Varrasse finished with 10 points, five assists, and four steals.

Bridget Golden led the Aggies with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
