school year.
"We are very pleased to see such a high number of
our student-athletes named to the all-conference academic teams," King's
director of athletics Cheryl Ish stated. "Combining academics and
athletics can be challenging, but our student-athletes continue to prove
that you can be outstanding in both areas. Their ability to excel in
both areas not only tells the true story of the type of student-athletes
our coaches recruit, but it also demonstrates the dedication our
student-athletes have on and off the field. We are very proud to have
this many student-athletes honored for their academic efforts."
