KING'S FIELD INCHING CLOSER TO COMPLETION

WILKES-BARRE -- The new turf field project at King's College's Robert L. Betzler Fields athletic complex is nearing completion.

The field itself is full complete with all markings, field boundaries, and lines installed. The field is fully ready for practices and games.

The new scoreboard and lights, as well as fencing are expected to be installed before the college's fall sports teams return to campus to practice. King's football team will be the first to report for pre-season camp on August 14.

The field will benefit King's football, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's lacrosse teams.
