KING'S WRESTLERS DROP THREE MATCHES AT PA/NY DUALS

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College wrestling team dropped three matches at the PA/NY Duals Saturday at Rochester Institute of Technology.

King's (0-5) fell to 18th ranked Oswego 30-12 in its opener, then dropped a 45-0 verdict to 13th ranked Cortland State. In the final match, King's lost to RIT 27-15.

The Monarchs competed without its two top wrestlers, Jason Reilly (8-0) ranked fifth nationally at 197, along with Dave Morgan (10-1) at 133, who were both ill.

Against Oswego, Bobby Williard (157), Zack Dietrick (174), Buck Raymond (197), and Jim Bishop (285) each earned decision victories. Against R.I.T, Drew Dehaut (165) posted a win by fall, while Bob Bareese (174) and Justin Bender (285) earned decisions.

King's returns to action Wednesday at the NEPA Challenge Duals at the University of Scranton at 4:00 p.m.
