MONARCHS FINISH SEVENTH IN BUD-WHITEHILL DUALS

WILLIAMSPORT -- The King's College wrestling team
placed seventh in the annual Bud Whitehill Division III Duals Saturday at
Lycoming College, Williamsport.
King's, seeded 10th in the elite field of 20 teams,
went 1-1 on the first day on Friday and concluded the second day with a
2-1 effort. On Saturday King's defeated University of Chicago 19-18, then
fell to sixth-seeded Lycoming 24-15. In the seventh place match, the
Monarchs defeated fifth-seeded Ohio Northern 27-17.
Mitch Marcks won all three matches Saturday to
improved to 18-0 on the year. Jim Morgan also went 3-0 to improve to 18-1.
Dave Shafer added three victory and stands at 21-1 while Joe Arnone also
won all three matches to up his mark to 14-4.
The Monarchs stand at 7-4 on the year.
