KING'S TENNIS CONCLUDES OUTSTANDING SEASON WITH
8-1 WIN AT PSU-BERKS
READING -- The King's College men's tennis team
put the wraps on a highly-successful dual meet season as the Monarchs
posted an 8-1 victory over host Penn State Berks at the Hill Indoor
Tennis Center, Reading.
The Monarchs opened by winning two of three doubles bouts, then captured
all six singles contests to secure the win. With the victory, King's
ended its season with a 15-6 mark.
Nick Hojsack and David Boe were winners in both singles and doubles for
the Monarchs while Matt Dunne, Blake Bonser, David Kaluzavich, and Povl
Schmidt all contributed with singles victories. Jon Ferrie and Joe Guza
also picked up a doubles win.
King's will now compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual
Championships Saturday and Sunday when the tournament is held at Kirby
Park.
