KING'S TENNIS EDGES LVC, 5-4
ANNVILLE -- The King's College men's tennis team
improved to 14-6 on the year as the Monarchs posted a 5-4 victory over
host Lebanon Valley College Tuesday in Annville.
King's won two of the three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead heading
into the singles competition, The Monarchs then split the six doubles
contests to secure the win
Mike Portonova, Nick Hojsack, and David Kaluzavich were all winners in
both singles and doubles. Kaluzavich clinched the match with a 6-4, 3-6,
6-3 victory over Shaun Becker at number-six singles.
King's will wrap up its match-play season Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m.
contest at Penn State Berks. King's will then compete in the Middle
Atlantic Conference Individual Championships Saturday and Sunday at
Kirby Park.
