KING'S TENNIS DEFEATS LYCOMING
7-1, IMPROVES TO 9-3, 4-0 IN MAC
WILLIAMSPORT -- The King's College men's
tennis team won its seventh straight match of the season as the Monarchs
posted a 7-1 victory over host Lycoming College Thursday in
Williamsport.
With the win, King's improves to 9-3 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Freedom
Conference.
David Kaluzavich, Blake Bonser, and Matt Dunne were winners in both
singles and doubles for the Monarchs. Junior Mike Portonova improved to
11-1 with a straight set singles victory while Kaluzavich upped his mark
to 8-3. Nick Hojsack, Bonser, and Boe also posted singles victories as
each improved to 7-4 on the year.
King's returns to action Tuesday when the Monarchs host the University
of Scranton at 4:00 p.m. at Kirby Park.
