KING'S TENNIS POSTS 6-1 WIN OVER LYCOMING
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's tennis team won its third
straight match as the Monarchs posted a 6-1 victory over Lycoming
College Wednesday at Kirby Park.
With the win, the Monarchs improved to 3-1 on the year.
King's took a 1-0 lead after sweeping all three doubles matches. The
Monarchs then closed out the match by winning five-of-six doubles
contests.
Mike Portonova, Nick Hojsack, Brett Shipe, Blake Bonser, and David Boe
were all winners in both singles and doubles for King's.
King's will next host Marywood Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Kirby Park.
