KING'S MEN'S SOCCER WINS 3-1 OVER PSU HARRISBURG
HARRISBURG -- The King's College men's soccer team
opened up a 2-0 halftime lead en route to a 3-1 victory over Penn State
Harrisburg Saturday in Harrisburg.
With the win King's evened its season record a 6-6-2 while PSU-Harrisburg
slipped to 5-6-1.
King's opened the scoring at 21:14 of the first half when Dan Mortenson
scored off an assist by Dan Horn. King's upped the lead to 2-0 when Ryan
Murphy converted a penalty kick at 28:52.
The Monarchs would make it a 3-0 game in the
second half when Cameron Audette struck net on Horn's second assist of
the game at 58:50.
PSU-Harrisburg would finally get on the board with 7:31 left when Vedan
Divkovic score unassisted.
King's held a15-6 advantage in shots as well as an 8-4 led in corner
kicks.
Monarch goalie Kaleb Smith made three saves.
