KING'S FALLS TO LYCOMING, 3-0
WILLIAMSPORT -- Sophomore Chris Lorenzet had a goal and two assists as
host Lycoming College posted a 3-0 win against King's College Saturday
afternoon in Williamsport.
With the loss King's slips to 3-5-2
overall, while Lycoming improves to 7-2 on the season.
Freshmen Brian Haag scored the games
first goal at the 37:00 mark of the second period off an assist from
Lorenzet. Senior Rob Bailey added to the lead with a goal at the 14:00
mark of the second period with an assist from Lorenzet. Lorenzet then
added a tally with 1:00 left in the game to extend the lead to 3-0.
Lycoming outshot King's 20-2, while
holding a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks. Senior goalie John McNichol had
fives saves in net for the Monarchs.
King's will return to action Wednesday
when the Monarchs host Rutgers-Newark University at 3:30 pm
at Betzler Fields.
