KING'S MEN'S SOCCER TEAM AT MISERICORDIA
DALLAS -- Tyler Mensch scored a pair of goals to lead the Misericordia
University men's soccer team to a 3-1 win over King's College, Wednesday
night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Max Campbell added a goal and an assist as the Cougars improved to 2-1
while King's fell to 0-3.
Cody Hack added an assist while Ryan Murphy scored the lone goal for
King's on an assist from Alex Henery.
Campbell gave Misericordia a 1-0 on a deflection in the eighth minute
and Murphy tied it for King's 12 minutes later.
Mensch scored the game-winner unassisted four minutes before halftime
and added an insurance goal midway through the second half.
Andrew Loyd made five saves in goal for Misericordia while John McNichol
had eight stops for King's.
The Monarchs return to action Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Neumann College
in Aston.
