KING'S MEN'S SOCCER TEAM HOSTS ALUMNI GAME, GOLF TOURNAMENT

WILKES-BARRE -- On April 21, 2007 the King’s College Men’s Soccer
Program welcomed soccer alumni to Betzler Fields for an Alumni game.
Many alumni traveled quite a distance to enjoy the day, and reconnect
with many former teammates.
The team appreciated the dedication the alumni showed to soccer and the
current team, and hope that the Alumni Game becomes a tradition at
King’s. Thanks to those of you that participated and we hope others
will join the fun in future years.

On April 28, 2007 the King’s College Men’s Soccer team had its 1st
Annual Golf Tournament at Sand Springs Country Club in Drums,
Pennsylvania.
The event raised money for the men’s soccer team’s trip to Europe and
other essential soccer related expenses. The tournament went extremely
well with a large group of golfers participating in an 80-person
tournament.
The team would like to congratulate Brandon Heller, J.C. Blewitt,
Charlie DeCosmo, and Mark Ferentz for their winning round of golf,
finishing at 11-under par.
We as the team hope that everyone that participated this past year
enjoyed themselves and returns in the spring of 2008 for another great
day of golf.
The team would also
like to thank everyone that was involved in the tournament including the
hole sponsors, participants, the women’s soccer team volunteers, and the
Sand Springs Country Club staff.
