KING'S MILLER NAMED TO ALL-FREEDOM MEN'S SOCCER
TEAM
WILKES-BARRE
-- King's College men's soccer standout Jordan Miller (Malvern/Great
Valley) has been named to the All-Freedom Conference Team as a
second-team selection, the Middle Atlantic Collegiate Athletic
Corporation announced Thursday.
Miller concluded his career in fine fashion as he led the Monarchs in
scoring for the third time in his four-year tenure at King's. The 6-2
senior forward totaled 23 points on 11 goals and one assist and
registered a team-high four game wining goals.
Miller ends his career with 69 points on 30 goals and nine assists. He
led the Monarchs in scoring as a freshman (19 points) and as a sophomore
(14 points), in addition to his senior year.
"Jordan was a very hard-working player who was
always ready to play and had a never-say-die attitude," King's
first-year coach Mark Bassett stated. " He had a level of determination
second to none and an incredible passion for the game. Jordan was also a
totally unselfish player and always thought about the team and his
teammates before himself. Coming into a new system, he got off to a slow
start, but Jordan improved each week and really hit his stride. He are
happy for him and proud of his accomplishments at King's."
