KING'S MEN'S SOCCER TEAM DROPS 1-0 HEARTBREAKER TO GWYNEDD-MERCY
GWYNEDD-VALLEY -- Dave Bontempo would score the only goal of the
game with just 10:01 remaining as host Gwynedd-Mercy College posted a
1-0 victory over King's College in a non-conference men's soccer matchup
Friday in Gwynedd-Valley.
Gwynedd-Mercy improved to 5-7-1 with the
won while King's slipped to 4-10.
Gwynedd-Mercy outshot King's 9-6 while the Monarchs held a 10-7
advantage in corner kicks. King's goalie John McNichol made seven
saves.
King's will return to action Sunday when the Monarchs host Delaware
Valley College in a 1:00 p.m. Freedom Conference matchup at Betzler
Fields.
