SCRANTON -- Jordan Miller scored the game-winning goal with 4:53 remaining as the King's College men's soccer team posted a 2-1 victory over host Marywood University Wednesday in Scranton.

With the win, King's improved to 5-6 and snapped a three-game losing streak. Marywood slipped to 1-11 on the year.

After a scoreless first half, King's took a 1-0 lead with 35:09 remaining when Brett Shipe scored of an assist from Dennis Maldonado. Marywood would tie the score with 21:01 left when Matt Reynolds scored unassisted. The game appeared to be headed for overtime before Miller struck net unassisted to give King's the victory.

Monarch goalie Danny Roth made one save in goal as the Monarchs held a 12-6 lead in shots as well as a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.

King's will next host William Paterson University Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Betzler Fields.
