KING'S MEN'S SOCCER TEAM FALLS TO BROCKPORT IN TOURNEY FINAL
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College men's soccer team finished
second in the Brockport State University invitational when the Monarchs
dropped a 2-0 decision to the host team in the title game.
Brockport took a 1-0 halftime lead when Greg Pini scored off a Mike
Abgarian assist at 31:17. Abgarian would put the game away with an
unassisted goal with 13:57 remaining.
Brockport held a 12-3 advantage in shots while the Monarchs owned a 7-5
edge in corner kicks.
King's goalie Dan Upton made five saves, including a stop on a
first-half penalty kick.
King's will host New Jersey Athletic Conference power Montclair State
Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
