KING'S MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO VASSAR,
2-1
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY-- Chris Schreiber scored
a pair of first-half goals to lead
Vassar College to a first round victory
over the King's College men's soccer team at the Mid-Hudson Classic
Saturday at SUNY New Paltz in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Schreiber's first goal came off an assist
from Joe Petruccelli at 10:23, then at 17:23 off a pass from Joe Nazzaro.
King's goal came at 36:30 of the first half when Greg Castellani scored
off a Brian Noler assist.
King's outshot Vassar 13-12. Mark Ferentz
made five saves in goal for King's while Alex Parra had eight stops for
Vassar.
The Monarchs will next play SUNY-New
Paltz Sunday at 12:00 noon.
